Careers in Teaching
Thinking of becoming a teacher? Why not train with us.
Our culture is based around principles of high expectations and aspirations for all members of our school community.
Teaching is an incredibly rewarding career – and it is important to have the best quality training to start you on your professional journey. The Compass Trust are proud to include NESTT within the trust, and offer placements for trainee teachers in our Trust schools. We provide a wealth of experience and a wide range of training opportunities.
The Compass Trust can also supply school experience to potential applicants for teacher training with NESTT. This allows graduates considering a career in teaching, the opportunity to spend time gaining an insight into all aspects of secondary school life, including observing a variety of lessons in subject(s) of choice.
Norfolk, Essex and Suffolk Teacher Training (NESTT) has been formed through a merger of Suffolk and Norfolk SCITT and BEC Teacher training, and draws upon over 50 years of experience in training teachers. NESTT will still be delivering the same local, high quality, personalised training for which they are known.
NESTT provide:
- A track record of success
- High quality face to face training
- A personalised programme
- A wide range of placements
- Rapid Career Development
