Blue Peter Surprise

On Wednesday 28 February 2024, Frankie H and six of her close friends became a part of an amazing undercover surprise. After weeks of planning, the BBC planted some hidden cameras (with consent of the parents/carers of the students involved) and whisked the group of friends off to the Saracen Stadium. They thought they were attending a PE trip but in fact Frankie H was being presented with a GOLD Blue Peter badge for all of her amazing work she does highlighting mental health and women’s rugby. The friends not only were surprised to be filmed for Blue Peter, they also met some of the women’s England rugby team and were able to have a rugby lesson with them.

We wont ruin too much of the surprises as all can be seen on Blue Peter which airs on International Women’s Day on Friday 8 March 2024.
