On 6 March, our annual World Book Day full of activities took place in the Library. Once again, we held the highly anticipated book-themed baking competition. Our judges, struggled to award first, second and third prizes, as all entries were genuinely excellent.

1st place went to Eva C - Year 7 for her Paddington Bear cake; Emily F - Year 7 took 2nd place and joint 3rd went Annabelle D - Year 7 and Delphi - Year 9. 

This year, all entrants received house points and sweets for their efforts. We also had lots of activities going on throughout lunch time.

We also held the now regular second-hand book sale, which is always the most popular event (and helps us to raise funds that go back into next year’s World Book Day event).
