Year 7 and 8 Adventure Challenge Day

On Friday 5 July 2024, as part of The Billericay Adventure Programme, we held a Year 7 and 8 extra-curricular Adventure Challenge Day. Students were involved in a carousel of activities designed to challenge, but also develop teamwork, resilience and sense of adventure. We had indoor inflatables, capture the flag, benchball, Justdance and our own 'army style' assault course. Students also had classroom based activities based on the Paris Olympics and a visit from 'King Wippy' the ice cream van. The afternoon saw a break in the clouds and over 500 students took part in a colour run on our bottom field. A wonderful day was had by all, despite the weather's attempts to thwart our fun.
