Year 9 Royal Navy Visit

This week, we proudly hosted the Royal Navy who came to work with our Year 9 students. As part of the visit, students took part in team building and problem solving exercises – including a scenario requiring them to construct a 2m tall radio transmitter mast to assist relief effort in a country hit by a hurricane. In the afternoon, the Royal Navy team also delivered an assembly to Year 9 on the importance and wide ranging role of the Navy and the many opportunities available to people who serve both here and abroad.
